🖉My Thoughts:

This could have been an amazing book, the plot/storyline were really very interesting. And if the author would have stopped injecting smut into the book after every 3 pages of plot, I think I might have enjoyed it but honestly I just ended up being really annoyed with it when I was just past the 1/4 mark. Now, if that's your bag and you want allllll of the smut you will love this book. I truly did like the book's storyline but the editor needed to do her job better and make the story shine. Some of that smut should have just been a bonus chapter for subscribing to the author's newsletter or something. A bonus chapter? I don't know, but it was unnecessary to the plot and started to get exhausting. A dark(ish) paranormal romance is one of my fave type of reads normally. I gave it 3 stars simply because of the overabundance of erotic scenes that felt repetitive in the book because they actually cloud the plot.
