Get your swashbuckin' boots on because you're in for a story about fae🧚 who are...you guessed it! Pirates!⚔ 

I'll admit, I had a bit of a hard time getting in to the story at first. I think that I started this book approximately 3 times. However, once I got a few chapters in and the action kicks in it gets really interesting. So keep going! I liked the FMC Livia (Songbird) instantly, while I found the MMC Erik (Bloodsinger) very unlikable at first, but he grew on me. It was almost as if I started to like him as the FMC did. It works out perfectly for the way this book is written. This is obviously an enemies to lovers trope, what with the kidnapping and all. I don't know why but I do very much enjoy ETL and fake dating. Every. Single. Time.

There's defintely some smut in here, so look no further if you're on the hunt for fairy smut! Livia and Erik have a sort of a love/hate relationship with a huge dose of chemistry. I found it to be pretty entertaining. 

There's kind of a wild plot twist in the last 25% that I didn't see coming at all.. I mean, at all. And this book does end on a cliffhanger. A big one. So expect to be ready to buy the 2nd book once you finish the first becuse you're going to want to dive right into that one. I had another book on standby so I've got to wait to start it but I'm very excited to read book 2!
