The Good: * While campy, this book series still manages to be quite witty. These books are great if you’re looking for a pick me up * If you’re looking to get into the mood for fall, the vampire aspect does give a bit of a Halloween vibe

The Meh: * I loved Reggie’s character in book one. While I don’t dislike Amelia’s character, her vibe and energy just don’t really seem on the same plane as Reggie’s. It made the storyline feel a little off-kilter to me.

Bottom Line: Jenna Levine is back with another campy rom-com in the vein of “My Boyfriend’s Back”, “Lisa Frankenstein” and “Your Monster”. I cannot be here for in enough. If you enjoy movies like these, you’ll love this book series. Book three is due out this October and I cannot wait. This series has a great mix of silliness and seriousness. Great for a lighthearted read that will put a smile on your face and will leave you in high spirits when you close the book.
